Flying Start England is the national development programme for all newly qualified nurses, midwives and allied health professionals in NHS England. It has been designed to support your transition from student to newly qualified health professional by supporting your learning in everyday practice through a range of learning activities available on the left hand side and additional support from work based preceptors.

If you are a newly qualified practitioner, use the Register link on the top menu to gain access to the full development programme today. If your role includes supporting learners in the NHS England, you can register using the link in the Preceptor Area. Each of the learning programmes have a downloadable PDF document which will guide you through the programme when you are away from the internet.
